Welcome To Our Ward

                                            

My name is Greg Morehead and I am one of the youngest African American of the other 29 Alderman/Alderwoman to hold office on the New Haven Board of Alderman.  Working with churches, schools, businesses and community leaders in this ward, I am helping to reclaim and rebuild unity for the residents of our community.

To make the 22nd Ward a better place to live and work, I feel the communication between myself and the residents are essential.  That's why this Web site was created.

Only being in Office since April of this year, I am aggressively seeking new ways to communicate with the residents and quickly and effectively respond to their concerns.  I am the first African American on the Board of Aldermen to create a web site that enables quick and easy access for residents to reach my office.  It is another example of how I am working to live up to my commitment to listen to and serve the 22nd ward.

By logging on to this site, you will get the very latest news and information about the ward, find out about important meeting schedules, learn about community alerts and upcoming community events, and much more.  You can even submit an electronic request to have street lights repaired, trees trimmed or removed, or any other kind of service requests routinely handled by me directly.
